Kathy Gerrity is the wife of Steve Doocy, an American television host, political commentator, and author.

The couple tied the knot on June 30, 1986, and have been happily married for several decades. They three adult children: Mary, Sally and Peter Doocy.

Kathy Doocy, his wife, is a former model and TV sports reporter who appeared in a commercial for the Chatty Cathy doll.

Doocy and his wife Kathy released the Happy in a Hurry Cookbook in 2020, which opened at number one on the New York Times Best Seller list and went on to become one of America’s best cookbooks of that pandemic year.

It was a follow-up to their 2018 bestseller Happy Cookbook: A Celebration of the Food That Makes America Smile.

The Doocys also wrote Tales from the Dad Side and The Mr. and Mrs. Happy Handbook. All four books were New York Times bestsellers and were published by William Morrow & Company, a branch of HarperCollins.
