Scotland’s most well-known footballer, Steve Welsh, was born in Glasgow on April 19, 1968. Welsh’s first professional goal came on February 6, 2021, when he headed in a corner from David Turnbull to give his team a 2-1 victory over Motherwell. He re-signed with Celtic on April 13, 2021, for a new deal that will last until 2025.

Following his recall from a loan stint at Morton, Stephen Welsh made his Celtic debut last season against Hamilton. He apparently played both center half and right back for Greenock, so we can take advantage of his versatility. Beyond that, he has demonstrated stability and confidence when playing. Welsh started to perform well and had a solid run in the lineup after recently scoring a wonderful headed goal from a corner. When he was injured in a nasty tackle at St. Mirren and needed to be carried away, that run of games was temporarily interrupted.
