He was best known for his roles in Blake’s 7, Citizen Smith three series, Signor Donato in Casanova, and Commander John Shepherd in Shoot on Sight.

Stephen Greif had voiced and been nominated for best narrator for Sony’s PlayStation Video game Puppeteer, as well as many other games and cartoon series for the Cartoon Network, including Elliott from Earth.

Greif won the BBC Audio Books of America award for narrating Sally Gardner’s The Boy with the Magic Numbers.
