Stefano Pioli is an Italian football manager and a former defensive football player.

He currently serves as head coach of AC Milan football club, whom he helped win the Serie A title in 2022.

Born on October 20, 1965, in Parma, Italy, Pioli began his own playing career for his hometown team, Parma.

He was later acquired by Juventus, where he made his Serie A debut in 1984. During his three seasons with the team, he won the league championship, the European Cup, the European Super Cup, and the Intercontinental Cup.

Pioli managed the youth teams of Bologna from 1999 to 2002 and Chievo between 2002–2003. He had won a championship during this time.

In 2019, Pioli was hired as the head coach of AC Milan.

The club, under Pioli, concluded the Serie A season in sixth place, scoring 63 goals, which was the team’s high point since 2013.
