Pope’s untimely demise was confirmed by his family in a statement released by his brother, Tshepo Ramoshai, on Sunday, April 1, 2024 morning.
“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kagiso ‘Pope’ Ramoshai. In this time of grief, we appeal for your compassion, space, and time to congregate as a family,” expressed Tshepo.

The accident occurred on the R71 while Pope was on his way home from a popular pub at approximately 2 am.
