Their romance took off like wildfire because it was the first time Sophie had been linked with a mysterious guy since her public breakup with The Bachelorette Australia winner Stu Landy.

The Love Island Australia host, 42, and her neurosurgical robotics consultant beau, 41, married in March at their Central Coast, NSW home after eloping and holding a wedding for themselves with no guests.

On January 15 of last year, the couple announced their engagement, with Joshua presenting Sophie with a stunning diamond ring.

‘Joshua and I are so happy,’ the delighted bride-to-be exclaimed on Instagram at the time.

Joshua proposed on Christmas Day last year, according to a spokesperson for Sophie, but they didn’t announce they’re happy news until January.
