Currently playing as a loose forward for Moana Pasifika in Super Rugby, Solomone Funaki (born 25 April 1994) is a professional rugby union player from Tongan descent. Internationally, he speaks for Tonga.

In 2018, Funaki relocated to Hawke’s Bay and joined the Maori Agricultural College (MAC) Sports Association, where he played club rugby. He was added to the Hawke’s Bay roster for the 2018 Mitre 10 Cup season as a stand-in for an injured player, and he made his Magpies debut on September 30, 2018, against Canterbury.

That season, it was his lone Mitre 10 Cup contest. He was a full squad member for the Magpies in 2019, however owing to two broken wrists, he was unable to play in any of the Mitre 10 Cup matches.
