Tongan professional rugby union player Solomone Funaki (born 25 April 1994) is presently a loose forward for Moana Pasifika in Super Rugby. He is Tonga’s international ambassador.

Funaki relocated to Hawke’s Bay in 2018 and participated in the Maori Agricultural College (MAC) Sports Association’s club rugby team. As a temporary injury replacement, he was added to the Hawke’s Bay roster for the 2018 Mitre 10 Cup season. He made his Magpies debut on September 30, 2018, against Canterbury.

That year, he played in just one Mitre 10 Cup game. He was a full squad member for the Magpies in 2019, although he missed the entire Mitre 10 Cup season because of two fractured wrists.
