Socrate Safo Attributes Ghanaian Accidents to Ignorance, Not Supernatural Causes

Movie maker, Socrate Sarfo is of the view that accidents in Ghana are mainly caused by ignorance. He says several drivers are just good at controlling the steering wheels and not the various regulations on the use of roads.

Socrate Sarfo believes that education on road usage is not taken seriously in the country hence several needless accidents on our roads. The movie maker made this known while reacting to several accidents that occurred over the weekend involving entertainers.

He said “Driving regulations is one of the poorest education we have in Ghana. You can see a car moving slowly in the inner lane which should not be the case. On the N1 you will see that a driver is driving slowly not knowing the harm he can cause other drivers. They don’t know what the inner lane or outer lane is. They just feel like we are just on the road. Even road markings can’t tell the difference.

This is what is killing many people. Do you know that don’t accelerating if you’re being overtaken is part of the regulations? People don’t know. We should not blame the devil for accidents. We should blame ignorance,” he said.
