Sissy Spacek Husband: Who is Jack Fisk?

Jack Fisk is an American production designer and director who is married to Sissy Spacek a singer and actress from the United States.

After meeting on the set of Badlands, the couple got married in 1974. Schuyler Fisk, born on July 8, 1982, and Madison Fisk, born on September 21, 1988, are their two daughters.

Fisk made his directorial debut with Raggedy Man (1981) and went on to direct the films Violets Are Blue (1986), Daddy’s Dyin’: Who’s Got the Will? (1990), Final Verdict (1991), and two episodes of the television series On the Air (1992).

Fisk served as the film Carrie’s art director in 1976 while his wife, Sissy Spacek, played the lead role in Brian De Palma’s Carrie.

He often works with the filmmakers Terrence Malick and David Lynch (whom he has known since childhood).

For Paul Thomas Anderson’s There Will Be Blood, he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Art Direction. At the 88th Academy Awards, he was nominated for an Academy Award for the second time for the movie The Revenant.
