Who Is Sione Vailanu?
Sione Vailanu is a rugby union player who plays as a flanker and number eight for the Glasgow Warriors and for Tonga.
Vailanu was born on January 27, 1995, in Nukualofa, Tonga, and attended Asahi University, during which he played rugby sevens in Japan for four years.

As a college player, he played for Samurai RFC at the Hong Kong 10s tournament.

On the international front, Vailanu first played for Tonga’s U-20 team in 2015, and scored 15 points over four appearances. He was called up to the senior squad in 2017.
In 2018, he made his senior career debut with the Saracens, and appeared in ten games, scoring 20 points in one season.
In 2019, he joined the Wasps, and in two seasons, he played in 31 games, scoring 25 points.
In 2021, Vailanu began playing for the Worcester Warriors, after agreeing to a two-year deal. He went on to appear in 21 matches, and recorded 15 points.
However, in 2022, he got signed by the Glasgow Warriors.
