About Sione Vailanu
Sione Vailanu began playing rugby as a flanker and number 8 for the Glasgow Warriors in 2022.
He first played for Tonga’s U-20 team in 2015, and scored 15 points over four appearances. He was then called up to the Tonga senior squad in 2017.

Vailanu made his senior career debut in 2018 with the Saracens, and appeared in ten games, scoring 20 points in one season.
In 2019, he joined the Wasps, and in two seasons, he played in 31 games, scoring 25 points.
He additionally played for the Worcester Warriors from 2021 to 2022, after agreeing to a two-year deal. His time with the team saw him appear in 21 matches, and recording 15 points.
