Sione Vailanu is a rugby union player who plays the flanker and number eight positions for United Rugby Championship club Glasgow Warriors and for Tonga.
Born on January 27, 1995, in Nuku’alofa, Tonga, Vailanu attended Asahi University, during which he played rugby sevens in Japan for four years.
In 2018, Vailanu made his senior career debut with the Saracens, and appeared in ten games, scoring 20 points in one season.
In 2019, he joined the Wasps, and in two seasons, he played in 31 games, scoring 25 points.
In 2021, Vailanu began playing for the Worcester Warriors, after agreeing to a two-year deal. He went on to appear in 21 matches and recorded 15 points.
