Sione Vailanu Halasili is a rugby union player who plays the flanker and number eight positions for United Rugby Championship club Glasgow Warriors and for Tonga.

Born on January 27, 1995, in Nuku’alofa, Tonga, Vailanu Halasili attended Asahi University, during which he played rugby sevens in Japan for four years.
In 2018, Sionne Halasili Vailanu made his senior career debut with the Saracens, and appeared in ten games, scoring 20 points in one season.
In 2019, he joined the Wasps, and in two seasons, he played in 31 games, scoring 25 points.
In 2021, Vailanu began playing for the Worcester Warriors, after agreeing to a two-year deal. He went on to appear in 21 matches and recorded 15 points.
However, in 2022, he got signed by the Glasgow Warriors.
On the international front, Vailanu first played for Tonga’s U-20 team in 2015 and scored 15 points over four appearances. He was called up to the senior squad in 2017.
