David Adkins, best known by his stage name Sinbad, is a stand-up comedian and actor from the United States.

He rose to prominence in the 1990s after appearing on various television shows, including Coach Walter Oakes in A Different World (1987–1991)

and The Sinbad Show (1993-1994), as well as acting in the films Necessary Roughness, Houseguest, First Kid, Jingle All the Way, Good Burger, and Planes (2013).
