Shilo Sanders will now be a part of the Colorado Buffaloes. Shilo Sanders, a Jackson State transfer and the son of Colorado head coach Deion Sanders, revealed on Saturday night that he has committed to the Buffaloes in a YouTube video.

Shilo played two seasons for the Gamecocks during his first two years of college at South Carolina. In 2019 and 2020, he played in four and nine respectively. 32 tackles and one pass breakup were recorded by him in 2020.

It was widely believed that both of coach Sanders’ boys would enroll at CU when he was hired in December. Shilo had to wait until after graduating from Jackson State this spring, while quarterback Shedeur Sanders joined CU in January. Shilo had already moved once.

Shedeur is Shilo’s brother, while Shelomi is Shilo’s sister. Deion Sanders Jr. and Deiondra Sanders are his stepsiblings. Shilo was up in a home where football played a significant role in daily life, so it’s not surprising that he became interested in the sport at a young age.
