American rapper, Shifty Shellshock has been battling addiction for years. He was one of the nine celebrities featured in the first season of VH1’s Celebrity Rehab.

Shifty admitted to the doctor that cocaine will be the toughest drug to abstain from. However, he graduated from treatment with the other cast members in the summer of 2007,
In 2012, he was hospitalized after he lost consciousness. He was awakened from the coma and was later released from the hospital.

When his band Crazy Town signed to tour with Ozzfest in 2000, they were forced to withdraw after only two weeks when Shifty was arrested for throwing a chair through a window while he was drunk.
He was arrested by the California police for driving under the influence (DUI) on Tuesday, April 25, 2023. Reports stated that a call came through explaining that a driver of the SUV was falling behind the wheel at a red light.
