American television personality, Sherri Shepherd reportedly pays her ex-husband Lamar Sally, $4000 every month. However, she was sent to court by Sally to increase the amount to $6,400 a month in child support for their surrogacy son.

Sally took to the matter to the court and requested that the amount should be increased. According to him, Shepherd earns over $3 million annually, therefore, she needs to pay more. Sally shared that his request for the increment is based on the fact that their son, Lamar Sally Jr., suffers from a genetic disorder that requires a strict diet and frequent medical visits.

“The court dismissed this action after finding that this court lacks jurisdiction over Respondent and the issue of modifying a child support order issued in New Jersey, which is continuing exclusive jurisdiction,” a court document stated.
“Shepherd now hopes that her ex will stop his frivolous attempts to get more money out of her and will seek gainful employment to take care of his child like any other capable parent,” Shepherd’s rep said.
