Shehzad Azam, a well-known Pakistani cricketer who played for Islamabad has died at the age 36.

Was Shehzad Azam married? Apparently, Azam kept his personal life away from the media and at the time of his passing, his marital status was unknown.
Born on 1 November 1985, Azam met his untimely death on 30 September 2022 after suffering a cardiac arrest.
Prior to Azam’s demise, he was the leading wicket-taker for Islamabad in the 2017–18 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, with 26 dismissals in seven matches.
He was also the leading wicket-taker for Islamabad in the 2018–19 Quaid-e-Azam One Day Cup, with nine dismissals in eight matches.
The cricket community have been mourning Azam’s death.
Yasir Arafat wrote on Twitter;
Really sad news 😢💔, we lost Shehzad Azam a lovely soul and great human being, a hard working cricketer with ambition to play for pakistan. May Allah grant him highest place in Jannah 🤲

Sohail Tanveer also mourned Azam’s passing, writing on social media;
