Shawn Kemp Arrested: What Happened to Shawn Kemp? Why Has Shawn Kemp Been Arrested?

There are reports that Shawn Kemp has been arrested in Tacoma, Washington in connection to an alleged drive-by shooting.

Tacoma police said that an altercation between occupants of two vehicles led to shots being fired in the early afternoon. Multiple reports suggest that Kemp, a six-time NBA All-Star is the suspect in the case.

He was booked on a felony drive-by-shooting charge at 5:58 pm local time. The former NBA player was booked in a Pierce County jail and is currently being held in connection with the drive by shooting.

This will not be the first time Kemp will be in the grips of the police as in 2005, he was arrested in Shoreline Washington for an investigation of drug possession. He was again arrested for misdemeanor marijuana possession in Houston, Texas in 2006.
