On May 9, 2024, Sarkodie dropped a single called ‘Brag,’ where he highlights his position as Africa’s top rapper and emphasizes his enduring presence alongside the careers of Nigerian stars Davido, Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Asake.
Shatta Wale is the latest artist to respond to Sarkodie’s ‘Brag’. The Ghanaian Dancehall sensation took to social media, expressing that it doesn’t matter if Sarkodie was there alongside Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy. What truly matters is where Sarkodie stands now.

In a video Shatta Wale said: “I get am before no be property, where are you now.”
Shatta Wale’s comment follows the controversies sparked by Sarkodie’s ‘Brag,’ where his mention of Davido, Wizkid, and Burna Boy was seen by some as a diss towards the Nigerian heavyweights.
