Shatta Movement Empire Clears Air on Comments Made By Shatta Wale to GSPD

Shatta Movement Records, the management team of Shatta Wale, has issued an apology to the Ghana Society of Physically Disabled (GSPD) for the derogatory remarks made by their artiste regarding Stonebwoy.

In their statement addressing the controversy, the Empire clarified that Wale had no ill intent toward the disabled group.

Shatta Movement Empire acknowledged that the artist’s statement “may have been misinterpreted” as he had no intention to mock or belittle individuals with disabilities.

As per the Empire, Wale’s remarks aimed to “emphasize the importance of Stonebwoy acting right and treating others with respect at all times.”

“We understand that the wording of the statement may have been insensitive and we acknowledge the concerns raised…we value and respect the contributions and rights of individuals with disabilities in our society” part of the statement read.
