Shaq Hospital: Why is Shaquille O’Neal in hospital?

NBA Hall of Famer and legend, Shaquille O’Neal’s post on social media raised several concerns after he was pictured in a hospital bed.

“I’m always watching @TurnerSportsEJ and @Candace_Parker miss y’all,” Shaq posted in a tweet.

It was reported that there is nothing severely wrong with the athlete, and that he had just undergone a hip replacement surgery.

Several tweeps sent their well wishes to the famous sportsman and philanthropist.

“Get well soon big fella!! Prayers going up now,” Greg Warmoth.

“Feel better my friend! I just had my hip replaced 1 month ago. Back in the gym for 2 weeks… full steam ahead!” Jeannine Edwards wrote.

“Hope you feel better soon,” Wynn Westmoreland also tweeted.

“Hope you ok, Big Ma,” Matthew Mayer asked.

“Get well big fella,” Steve Smith tweeted.

On March 9, 2023, Shaq shared that he would be going away for sometime during an episode of The Big Podcast with Shaq. He also jokingly shared that he would be losing 30 pounds and returning to the show with 6 pack.

“I’m gonna do that for 90 days and get shredded,” he shared.
