Shanquella Robinson was discovered dead on October 29 2022, in a villa in San José del Cabo after visiting with six companions.

Robinson’s mother told “GMA” that her daughter’s friends came to her house before the autopsy report came out. She said each friend came back and told her something different, so she never believed their stories.

Shanquella Robinson’s cause of death is listed as “severe spinal cord injury and atlas luxation” in the autopsy report and death certificate issued by the Mexican Secretariat of Health, with no reference to alcohol.

The paper also notes that there were roughly 15 minutes between the injuries and the death, and “yes” was checked in the section inquiring whether the death was “accidental or violent.”

The document, dated November 4 2022, states that Robinson was discovered unconscious on the afternoon of October 29, 2022, in the living room of a house on Padre Kino Avenue in San Jose del Cabo.

On November 19, 2022, Shanquella Robinson was laid to rest. Robinson’s coffin was transported to Macedonia Baptist Church by a horse-drawn carriage. Her memorial service was attended by hundreds of people.
