Shannen Doherty First Husband: Who is Ashley Hamilton?

Ashley George Hamilton is a singer-songwriter, actor, and comedian from the United States.  He was the first husband of Shannen Doherty an American actress, producer, and television director.

The former couple got married on October 11, 1993. They filed for divorce in April 1994. Hamilton attracted media attention when he and Shannen Doherty married after only two weeks of dating. The couple divorced after only five months of marriage.

Ashley Hamilton made his acting debut in the 1993 film Beethoven’s 2nd. He’s appeared in films such as Lost in Africa (1994), Off Key (2001), Lost Angeles (2012), Iron Man 3 (2013), and Cats Dancing on Jupiter (2015) since then. He played Cole Deschanel in the first season of the NBC television series Sunset Beach (1997).

Hamilton is a singer and songwriter in addition to his acting career. He was the frontman for the Los Angeles-based rock band Fine. “Against the View” was the group’s debut and only album to date, released in 1999.

Ashley Hamilton released a single called “Wimmin’” in June 2003, which peaked at number 27 on the UK Singles Chart. British singer Robbie Williams co-wrote the song and provided some of the vocals on it. Hamilton also claims that he co-wrote Williams’ single “She’s Madonna” in 2006, but that Williams never published his name.
