Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter, Crown Uzama, known professionally as Shallipopi, has swiftly dominated the Apple Music chart, claiming the top nine positions within just 48 hours of dropping a new album.

The “Shakespopi” album signifies Shallipopi’s sophomore effort, arriving barely two years after his initial breakthrough in the music industry.

“Shakespopi” comprises nine tracks, each soaring to the top of the Apple Music Naija Top 100 chart, dethroning the long-standing reign of Portable and Skepta’s “Tony Montana,” which had held the number one spot for weeks.

The surge of Shallipopi’s songs has sparked speculation among music critics, who have suggested the possibility of an artificial boost on Apple Music, commonly referred to as “Farming.”
