Gina Hislop and George Hislop are the parents of English former footballer, Shaka Hislop. There is very little information about him.

Born on February 22, 1969, Shaka Hislop wanted to be a football striker at a very early age but was thrust in goal as he was the tallest player on his team. He eventually grew to just under 6’5″ in height.
After graduating from St. Mary’s College in Trinidad, he earned a scholarship to play college soccer at Howard University in the United States and led his team to the NCAA Final as a freshman starter.

Hislop graduated from Howard with honors with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. During this time, he interned at NASA. After graduating, he was spotted by Reading at a friendly indoor match against Aston Villa of the English Premier League. He went on to sign professional forms with Reading for the 1992-93 season and remained there for two more years.
He played several teams during his active career. Some of these teams include Newcastle United, West Ham United, Portsmouth, and FC Dallas.
