Shagun Malhotra is well known as the elder sister of Sanya Malhotra.

Both Shagun and Sanya were born to Sunil Malhotra, an engineer, and Renu Malhotra, a homemaker.
Apart from this fact, Shagun’s other details are not known.
However, her sister Sanya Malhotra is an Indian actress who is well known for portraying the role of Babita Kumari in a 2016 sports biopic film Dangal.
After graduating from college, Malhotra took up the job of a dance teacher at a school in Delhi.

She competed in the 2009 Indian dance reality show Dance India Dance but was rejected because her backstory wasn’t strong.
Malhotra made her acting debut in 2016 in an Indian Hindi-language biographical sports drama film Dangal which was directed by Nitesh Tiwari as Babita Kumari which she won the 2018 Jackie Chan Action Movie Awards for Best New Action Performer.
In 2017, Malhotra choreographed for the song ‘Sexy Baliye’ in Secret Superstar.
