The lawsuit, filed on April 8, 2024, by the state on behalf of Serwaa Amihere, comprises several charges, including conspiracy to commit a crime, non-consensual sharing of an intimate image, and sexual extortion.
Court documents reveal that the charges brought against the accused individuals, Edem Saviour Ketti, Candylove Kwakyewaa Ababio, and Henry Amponsah (Henry Fitz), are in violation of Section 23(1) of the Criminal Offences Act 1960 (Act 29) and Section 67(2) of the Cybersecurity Act 2020 Act 1038.
The lawsuit alleges that the accused parties acted together with the common purpose of committing a crime, specifically the non-consensual sharing of an intimate image.
It further claims that they conspired to distribute a prohibited visual recording of Serwaa Amihere without her consent on various social media platforms, which is against Section 67(1) of the Cybersecurity Act 2020 Act 1038.

Progress has already been made in the case, with law enforcement authorities apprehending Edem Saviour Ketti at his hideout in Dzorwulu, Accra.
During investigations, Ketti confessed to using his Ghana Card to register the MTN mobile money account allegedly used to receive the ransom. Efforts are underway to arrest Henry Amponsah, also known as Henry Fitz, in connection with the case.
