Serge Onik Cause Of Death

So You Think You Can Dance star, Serge Onik, has passed away at age 33. His cause of death is yet to be revealed.

Onik was best known for competing in season 11 of “So You Think You Can Dance” in 2014, and he also worked as a choreographer on “Dancing with the Stars.”

Onik’s rep, Jim Keith, president of The Movement Talent Agency, confirmed Onik’s death in a statement.

“He was an amazing dancer with a huge heart and he touched the lives of everyone who met him,” said Keith. “He will be truly missed. This is a sad day for us at the agency and for the dance community as a whole. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his friends and family at this time.”

“DWTS” pro-Peta Murgatroyd shared her grief over Onik’s passing in an emotional post-Wednesday on Instagram.

The celebrity dancer was born in Kharkiv, Ukraine, and relocated to the U.S. when he was 3.

He reunited with many of the pro dancers from the hit ABC dance competition series as a dancer in Sway: A Dance Trilogy including Chmerkovskiy, Peta Murgatroyd, Sharna Burgess, and Artem Chigvintsev.

His longtime friend Elena Grinenko lamented the loss of Onik on social media with a photo of the pair as kids.
