Sela Ward Husband: Who is Howard Sherman?

Howard Sherman is the husband of Sela Ward an American actress, author, and producer best known for her work in television and film.

The couple got married on May 23, 1992. They have two children: Austin and Anabella. Months after they married in 1992, Sela Ward brought her husband Howard Sherman to a 500-acre piece of property, which would come to be called Honeysuckle Farms, outside Ward’s hometown.

The couple tore down the existing dilapidated hunting cabin and built what’s called the “Rose Cottage,” a bungalow expertly decorated with Southern flare, where they live now.

Sela Ward’s husband Howard Sherman is a very successful private equity investor. He earned his undergraduate degree at Claremont McKenna College, a private liberal arts college in Southern California, and his master’s degree in business from Harvard.

Howard Sherman was one of six Democrats who run for the U.S. Senate seat in 2018. Sherman’s interest in running for Congress began in the early 1990s.
