Ferreira signed a loan agreement with Club Libertad of Paraguay’s Primera División on January 29, 2020, with an option to purchase. On February 2, he made his Gumarelo debut in a 2-1 victory over Nacional.
He scored his first goal for Libertad on February 7 when he converted a penalty kick in the 90+4th minute to help Gumarelo defeat Club River Plate 2-1. On March 7, Ferreira grabbed a hat-trick as Libertad defeated General Daz 5-1. Three days later, he assisted Libertad in a 3-2 Copa Libertadores group stage victory over Caracas with a brace of goals.
