In September 2022, Scott Williams was selected by the national federation to participate in the WDF Europe Cup.

Scott Williams made it to the fifth round of the singles competition but was defeated by Jan McIntosh with a score of 1-4 in legs. Williams and the team later won a gold medal in the team competition.

Scott Williams qualified for the 2020 BDO World Darts Championship in October 2019 as one of the Playoff Qualifiers. He defeated Wes Newton and Andrew Kateley to earn his spot in the tournament. In the Preliminary round, he faced Justin Thompson.

Scott Williams is currently playing in Professional Darts Corporation and World Darts Federation events.
