Who Is Scott Rudin?
Scott Rudin is a multiple award-winning film producer, and one of the few people who have won an EGOT – Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony awards.
Rudin was born on July 14, 1958, in Baldwin, New York. He has done a number of Broadway productions such as “The Book of Mormon, Hello, Dolly!, The Humans, A View from the Bridge, Fences and Passion”, all of which have won him 17 Tony Awards.

His production of “The Book of Mormon” was played in over 3,740 Broadway performances as of 2020, and across London, Australia, Europe, Asia, and the United States.
Other production credits of his include “No Country for Old Men”, which won an Academy Award for Best Picture, “Uncut Gems, Lady Bird, Fences, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Social Network, South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut, School of Rock, Zoolander, The Truman Show, Clueless, and The Addams Family.”
However, Rudin was suspended from film production in 2022, following allegations that he was physically abusive towards his employees.
