John Barlow is a publicist and current gay partner of TV producer Scott Rudin.

The duo have been together for some time. Barlow on his own, is a former owner of the Broadway communications firm Barlow-Hartman Public Relations.
Rudin began his career in film production in the 1980s and 1990s, with productions like “School Ties” (1992), “The Firm” (1993), “Searching for Bobby Fischer” (1993), and “Clueless” (1995).
Rudin has won numerous accolades, having produced a wide range of successful films, such as “No Country for Old Men”,”The Grand Budapest Hotel,” and “Lady Bird”, and collaborated with David Fincher on “The Social Network” which won three Academy Awards.

Rudin has also been involved in a number of theater productions including Broadway shows like “The Book of Mormon,” “Hello, Dolly!,” “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time,” and “To Kill a Mockingbird.”
His production of “The Book of Mormon” was played in over 3,740 Broadway performances as of 2020, across London, Australia, Europe, Asia, and the United States.
Unfortunately, Rudin’s career has recently been marred by allegations of abusive behavior to his staff and colleagues.
