James Caan, the father of American actor Scott Caan, passed away on July 6, 2022. He was aged 82.

James himself was an award- winning actor who has won four Golden Globes, an Emmy, and an Oscar.

James schooled in New York and bagged a degree from the Michigan State University.

James launched his acting career as an undergraduate and went on to graduate from New York City’s Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre.

He had been married four times during his lifetime and he is survived by five children, including actor Scott Caan.
