Sarah Lancashire is an English actress with an estimated net worth of £14 million.

The actress is known to many for her role in Coronation Street as Raquel Wolstenhulme, joining the cast in 1991.
In July 2000 Lancashire signed a two-year golden handcuffs contract with the ITV network, which made her the UK’s highest-paid television actress.
Subsequent television roles include the costume dramas Oliver Twist (2007), Lark Rise to Candleford (2008–2011) and The Paradise (2012), and the fact-based dramas Cherished (2005) and Five Daughters (2010).

Sarah has also been on stage, in Blood Brothers in 1990, as well as in West End productions such as Educating Rita and Guys and Dolls.
She has won two BAFTAs for her roles in Happy Valley and Last Tango in Halifax, in which she played an Oxford-educated headmistress in a same-sex relationship.
Her other honours include an OBE, which she received in the 2017 British Honours list for her contributions to drama.
