British news presenter, Sarah Jane Mee has not announced her intentions of leaving Sky News, not yet. She has been the anchor of The Sarah-Jane Mee show from 2019, presenting on Sky News from Monday to Thursday 2 pm to 5 pm.

However, she once left the studio, sobbing, during one of her news segments. She shared that she left the studio almost in tears after ‘airing a clip of a baby being passed over a barbed wire fence during the evacuation of Kabul.’ She shared that being a mother has thought her many lessons about babies.

“I returned from maternity leave just as the Afghanistan withdrawal story broke and that photo of a baby being handed over the barbed wire to soldiers will haunt me forever. I had to walk out of the studio when that report was playing because I was sobbing,” she said.
