Santos Escobar Parents: Meet His Father El Fantasma

Santos Escobar is a Mexican professional wrestler. Santos Escobar is the son of El Fantasma. The name of his mother is not known.

His father used to be a professional wrestler. His uncle, known as ngel de la Muerte, was also a professional wrestler, and his cousin has worked as ngel de la Muerte Jr. and later Fantasma Jr.

Santos Escobar is currently signed to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). He first gained international recognition as a luchador in Mexico and other promotions before joining WWE.

He worked as El Hijo del Fantasma for Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) from 2013 to 2019. Santos Escobar won the AAA Fusión Championship, the AAA Latin American Championship, the 2017 Copa Antonio Pea, and was the AAA World Cruiserweight Champion for the longest time.

He also held the CMLL World Middleweight Championship as well as the CMLL World Trios Championship twice (with Héctor Garza and La Máscara) throughout his career.

In WWE, Santos Escobar made his debut in the NXT brand in 2020. In May 2020, Santos Escobar won the NXT Cruiserweight Championship, solidifying his position as one of the top talents in the Cruiserweight division.
