Santiago Arias is a football player who has played for Major League Soccer club FC Cincinnati as a right-back since February 2023.
Arias was born on January 13, 1992, in Medellin, Colombia, and began his youth career with La Equidad academy.

He joined the senior squad in 2009 in a match against Deportes Tolima, and within two seasons, he appeared in 27 games for the club.

Arias has subsequently played for other clubs including Sporting CP, Jong PSV, PSV, Atlético Madrid, and Bayer Leverkusen (on loan).
He played for Granada CF on a one-year loan contract, making 12 appearances and scoring one goal.
In 2023, Arias joined Major League Soccer club FC Cincinnati and has since made 20 appearances and scored three goals.
On the international front, Arias has played for the Colombia national team since he made his international debut in 2009.
