Richa Sharma was the first wife of renowned Indian actor Sanjay Dutt. She was also known by her marriage name Richa Sharma Dutt.

Sharma and Sanjay tied the knot in New York City, United States in 1987. The pair had a daughter Trishala Dutt. Sadly, within two years of the marriage, Sharma was diagnosed with a brain tumor which claimed her life.

Born on 6 August 1964, Sharma passed away on 10 December 1996 at her parent’s home in New York. She was 48.
