Sandra Hunt Cause Of Death: What Happened To Vin Scully’s Second Wife?

Sandi Scully, the wife of former Los Angeles Dodgers Hall of Fame broadcaster Vin Scully, died Sunday 3, 2021 evening at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center following a battle with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). She was 76 years old.

Sandra Hunt was born on December 27, 1944, in Cascade, Virginia, and raised in Lexington, North Carolina.

She met Vin after being set up by Rams attorney Ed Hookstratten while working as the executive assistant to Los Angeles Rams owner Carroll Rosenbloom.

Sandi is survived by her daughter Catherine from her marriage to Vin, as well as her stepchildren Kevin and Erin. She had twenty-one grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Vin and his second wife Sandra were married for 48 years until Sandra’s death from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.

Vin Scully joined the Dodgers organisation in 1950 when the team was based in Brooklyn and called games until he retired at the end of the 2016 regular season. Scully died on August 2, 2022, at the age of 94, at his home in Hidden Hills, California.
