Sandra Renee Cantu was an American young teen who attracted national attention after going missing on March 27, 2009, in Tracy, California. Her body was discovered ten days later in a small irrigation pond inside a bag.

On April 10, authorities apprehended a 28-year-old local woman, Melissa Huckaby, and charged her with Cantu’s kidnapping, rape, and death. Huckaby’s mental health issues included borderline personality disorder, bipolar illness, and schizophrenia.

According to the court record “There were injuries to the external genitalia that were consistent with the diameter of the rolling pin handles,”
The toxicology results revealed that she had been given Alprazolam. The same drugs were found in Huckaby’s handbag. The medicine sometimes marketed as Xanax is intended to relieve anxiety specifically panic disorder or generalized anxiety disorder
Common side effects include sleepiness, depression, headaches, feeling tired, dry mouth, and memory problems.
