Debbie Toksvig is a psychotherapist and the wife of Sandi Toksvig, a British-Danish writer, actor, comedian, producer, presenter, and political activist.

The couple married in a civil partnership in 2007 and later renewed their vows on March 29, 2014, the same day same-sex marriage became legal in England and Wales.
At the time, she told Pink News: “I’d marry her every day if I could. I do have a confession to make, which is that I do not love Debbie as much today as I will tomorrow. Tomorrow, I will love her even more. Every day, it just gets better and better.
“It’s time. It’s a better quality – it’s about not being a second class status. It’s about being exactly the same as everyone else.”

Sandi and Debbie have an unusual living situation because they live on a houseboat in Wandsworth, South West London.
They don’t, however, spend all of their time here. They also have a non-waterfront home in Kent! Sandi and Debbie have a pet dog named Mildred who also lives aboard the boat
