Samuel Anthony Alito Jr. is an American lawyer and jurist who serves as an associate justice of the Supreme Court of the United States.

He was nominated by President George W. Bush on October 31, 2005, and has served since January 31, 2006. Samuel Alito was born on April 1, 1950, to Samuel A. Alito Sr. and Rose Fradusco Alito.

Samuel’s father Samuel A. Alito Sr. was an Italian immigrant, and his mother Rose Fradusco was an Italian- American. Both parents worked as school teachers. His parents are all dead. There is not much information about his parents apart from their name and their ethnicity.
As a child, Samuel Alito Jr. grew up in the suburbs and attended a public school. He participated in a wide range of clubs and was the valedictorian of his senior class.
After high school, he attended Princeton University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in history and political science. Alito then enrolled in Yale Law School and graduated with a Juris Doctor in 1975.
