Before making his National Rugby League debut in round 20 as a last-minute replacement, Lousi played for the Auckland Vulcans in the NSW Cup during the 2012 season.

After obtaining four caps, he joined with the Waratahs for the 2015 season, but his Super Rugby season was cut short by a shoulder injury.For the 2015 National Rugby Championship season, he joined the New South Wales Country Eagles squad.
