Sam Reid Parents: Meet his father and mother

Sam Reid is an Australian actor known for his work in film, television, and theater. The names of his parents are not public knwledge.

However,  he was raised in the remote Monaro region, where his father was a cattle farmer. Reid is of Irish ancestry on his mother’s side.

He has an older brother, Rupert Reid, who is also an actor, and a producer sister, Kali Reid. Reid has had a passion for acting since he was six years old, when he and his brother used to perform plays and cabaret in their family’s cattle barn.

Reid made his television debut in All Saints, an Australian medical drama series. Reid gained recognition for his roles in various films and television series.

He is best known for his roles in Lambs of God (2019) and The Newsreader (2021-present), for which he received two AACTA Award nominations for Best Lead Actor in a Television Drama, and for his critical acclaim as Lestat de Lioncourt in Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire (2022-present).
