Sam Quek Children: Meet Molly Doris Mairs and Isaac Gregory Mairs

Sam Quek, former field hockey sensation and renowned television personality, has embarked on a new adventure—motherhood.

Alongside her loving husband, Tom Mairs, they have been blessed with two beautiful children, Molly Doris Mairs and Isaac Gregory Mairs.

The journey into parenthood for Sam and Tom began in March 2021, a month they will forever cherish. Sam, with her vibrant personality and determined spirit, faced the incredible experience of childbirth.

She welcomed her first child, Molly Doris Mairs, into the world. However, the path to meeting their precious daughter was not without its challenges.

Sam shared the details of her childbirth experience with OK! Magazine in April 2021, highlighting the traumatic nature of her C-section.

She explained the ordeal, saying, “We got to 6cm dilated at midnight and it went on for hours. The consultant kept coming in, and I wasn’t moving from 6cm. She said, ‘Listen, you’re absolutely shattered. You’ve gone through a lot, your waters have been broken for longer than we’d like.’”

For Sam and Tom, the health and well-being of both mother and child were of paramount importance. Tom recalled the moment when they faced a critical decision, saying, “Sam was like, ‘It’s time to discuss options.’ The baby’s head was starting to swell.” This led to the decision for a C-section, and after hours of labor and a complex journey, baby Molly Doris made her entrance into the world.

But the journey didn’t end there. The Quek-Mairs family had even more love and happiness in store. In October 2021, Sam Quek joyously announced that they were expecting their second child.

In March 2022, the Quek-Mairs family was once again blessed with the pitter-patter of tiny feet. Sam and Tom welcomed their second child, a son, and named him Isaac Gregory Mairs.
