Sam Hilliard is an American professional baseball player for the Major League Baseball (MLB) Atlanta Braves. Sam Hilliard and his wife Katalin Hillard have a son together.

Sam and Katalin announced on March 29, 2022, that they were expecting a child in October 2022. On April 2022, the baseballer shared a new post in which he revealed that the baby is a boy and expressed his joy.
Despite expecting their baby in October, Sam and Kate gave birth to an adorable baby boy in September 2022, naming him Jackson James Hilliard.

Sam Hillard was drafted in the 31st round of the 2014 Major League Baseball draft by the Minnesota Twins out of Crowder, but he did not sign and instead attended Wichita State University.
After one year at Wichita State, he was drafted in the 15th round of the 2015 MLB draught by the Colorado Rockies and signed.
Hilliard made his professional debut with the Grand Junction Rockies in 2015, then moved on to the Asheville Tourists in 2017, the Lancaster JetHawks in 2018, and the Hartford Yard Goats in 2018. On November 6, 2022, Hilliard was traded to the Atlanta Braves in exchange for Dylan Spain.
