Saeed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan represented the ruler of Abu Dhabi till he apparently passed away earlier today owing to health issues.

HH Sheikh Saeed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who was born in Al Ain in 1965, was appointed in June 2010 and represented the ruler of Abu Dhabi until his passing.

The prince, a former member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, served as Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan’s official representative as well as chairman of the Abu Dhabi Maritime Port Authority and undersecretary of the Abu Dhabi Department of Planning. Not only in the area but also by individuals all around the world, he will be missed.

Sheikh Saeed is the son of Abu Dhabi’s emir, bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who founded and served as the first president of the United Arab Emirates.
